Using the Advocator Wallet

At this point, the Company Admin has properly set up their XTRM account, congratulations! Now that the need to fund the Advocator Wallet is set up, the next step is knowing how to utilize the features for payment management.

XTRM Checklist before proceeding

  • Log into your XTRM account to complete your Advance Profile,
  • "Linking bank account via PLAID for ACH Debit"
  • Fund your Advocator Pay Account via ACH Debit or Request Electronic Invoice

What is the Advocator Wallet

Think of the Advocator Wallet in the same way a physical wallet with cash works. 

  • To pay for something, you need that cash in your wallet first before you pay someone. 
  • In order to get the cash, you need to go somewhere to get the cash into your wallet… this is where XTRM comes into play. 
  • To transfer money from your bank account, credit, or debit card, XTRM is the intermediary in order to allow that process to happen.

To clarify, there are multiple ways to pay out rewards to Advocates.

  • Manually Upfront/ Extra Pay
  • At the Verified Stage
  • At the Sold Stage
  • At the Bonus Stage

Advocator Pay in Advocator Wallet

Location: Wallet > Advocator Pay

In Advocator pay, Company Admins will be able to see

  1. The available balance in the companies account
  2. The amount owed to Advocates

In addition to the viewing features, Company Admins can 

  • Deposit funds through a credit card
  • Download transaction reports
  • Access XTRM account for deposits into the Advocator Wallet

User Transactions in the Wallet

The User Transactions will allow Company Admins to track transaction details for a particular Advocate

The feature is implemented to ensure that all transactions the Company has sent have gone to the Advocate, and seeing insight into what form of payments the Company’s Advocates prefer


The “Description” Column shows what options the advocate chose to redeem such as 

  • digital gift card
  • prepaid virtual debit card
  • Advocate transferring funds to their account
  • View the available funds in the Advocates wallet

In order to view the Advocates individual transactions, the Company Admin must enter the email address of the Advocate

View & Manage Pending Payments 

Location: Advocates > Pending Payments

If the Company Admin would like to pay out an advocate rewards or, it call all be accessed under “Pending Payments”

The Pending payments section not only enables you to pay out Advocates, but also have a list of Advocates that need to be paid.


In order to pay out an Advocate, put the mouse cursor over “Payment Status” to payout an Advocate

 

 

 

 

 

Company Admins will have the option to 

  1. pay the full amount (which will remove them from the Pending Payments screen)
  2. a partial amount or extra pay

Export Paid Payments

Not only can the Company Admin view & manage pending payments, but also Export Paid Payments.

This can be useful for accounting reports, in which the Company Admin can see what advocates have been paid

Make sure to select the correct Date Range to view the Paid Payments

Once Export Paid Payments is selected, a downloadable CSV file with all the payment information.

Manually Sending Money to an Advocate

In the event that the Company wants to pay an Advocate ahead of time, or route them funds manually for any other reason, there is an easy option to do Manual Bonus Pay.


Location: Advocates > All (Or Active)


If you go to Advocates > All (Or Active) a list of all advocates will be shown. In order to pay an individual advocate manually, select any user profile that is desired to be manually paid. Once selected, head over to the “Payment Details” Tab and select “Click here for Manual Bonus Pay”.
