Setting Up Advocate Welcome SMS
Automate a Welcome Text Message
When a contact successfully refers someone using their personal link, they are automatically upgraded to an Advocate. You have the option to send them a customized welcome SMS to acknowledge their referral and invite them as a new Advocate.
This feature helps close the loop with your new Advocate and creates a more personal, branded experience.
How to Enable and Customize the Welcome SMS
- Go to Notification Settings in the main navigation.
- Click on the SMS tab.
- Find the setting labeled “Welcome SMS to Auto-Created Advocates.”
- Toggle the switch to ON to activate the feature.
- In the text box, edit the message to reflect your brand voice and provide clarity to your new Advocate.

Can I Edit the SMS Message Later?
Yes! You can return to Notification Settings > SMS at any time to update or improve the welcome message as needed.
