Setting Up Advocate Welcome SMS

Automate a Welcome Text Message

When a contact successfully refers someone using their personal link, they are automatically upgraded to an Advocate. You have the option to send them a customized welcome SMS to acknowledge their referral and invite them as a new Advocate.

This feature helps close the loop with your new Advocate and creates a more personal, branded experience.

How to Enable and Customize the Welcome SMS

  1. Go to Notification Settings in the main navigation.
  2. Click on the SMS tab.
  3. Find the setting labeled “Welcome SMS to Auto-Created Advocates.”
  4. Toggle the switch to ON to activate the feature.
  5. In the text box, edit the message to reflect your brand voice and provide clarity to your new Advocate.

Can I Edit the SMS Message Later?

Yes! You can return to Notification Settings > SMS at any time to update or improve the welcome message as needed.
